Jamdani Jewels, where it all began... Over a number of years I had thought of popularizing the traditional Bangladeshi Fabric "Muslin&Jamdani" using my own sense of color combination and designs. However the average urban Bangladeshi women do not wear Muslin sarees, since the old traditional Muslin Fabric has disappeared over the years. Jamdani has become the more popular saree fabric these days. It also offers a Imaginative designer the opportunity to use her sense of imagination to create more variety and at the same time maintain the uniqueness of each saree. I have focused on creating unique designers using various color combination for each of my creations. In doing so I had to rely on my natural instincts since I did not have an opportunity to gather formal education in dress designing. It gave me confidence that I had an inherent sense of design and colors. My desire to design sarees is therefore a product of a combination of these elements.
